Description
Development of resilience action plans, a resilience assessment framework (RAF tool) and other practical and innovative approaches, models and tools to support cities and urban services’ managers facing climate change building more resilient cities. The project considers a multisectorial approach, current and future climate scenarios and multiple hazards. This holistic approach enables city and systems’ managers to plan investments to cope with future situations.

Results
Innovative tools to support infrastructure managers and urban service providers in addressing the climate change challenges, contributing to more resilient cities. Based on the HAZUR® (method and software) approach, the project develops multisectorial tools for current and future climate scenarios, including multiple hazards, interdependencies among services, monitoring the city and simulating cascading effects for impacts that affect it, as well as contributing to the cities’ resilience plans.
