Description
Extension of the drinking water supply to the Greater Maputo Area (Population served: approximately 600 000 inhabitants):
- 94 km-long Conveyance pipeline. DN 1000 a 1200 mm (maximum flow of 1,4 m³/s);
- Two pumping stations: PS 1 and PS2 with Q = 0,70 m3/s, H = 25 m.c.a. and P = 30 kW during the 1st phase;
- Corumana Water Treatment Plant: designed for 60 000 m³/day during the first phase and 120 000 m³/day during the second phase;
- Treated Water Tank: 2 x 2500 m³.
