Description
The project tackled the removal of emerging contaminants during wastewater and reclamation treatment. It studied the technical-economic feasibility of a water reclamation scheme involving MBR followed by a hybrid powdered activated carbon/nanofiltration (PAC/NF) treatment, through the comparison against a conventional and advanced reclamation schemes. LNEC tasks: selection and characterization of the PAC; test at lab scale of different PAC/NF configurations.
