Methodologic Guide for the Elaboration of Water Resources Management Plans for Islands

This project, framed by the AQUAMAC II Project - Techniques and Methods for Sustainable Water Management in Macaronesia (funded by the INTERREG III-B programme), developed, adapted and applied to case studies the methodologies and approaches to be implemented for the river basin management plans foreseen under the European Commission's Water Framework Directive, taking into account the insular characteristics of the Macaronesia Region (namely the Azores, Madeira and Canary archipelagos).
