Floods in river da Costa

Description
The study includes the hydrological and hydraulic modeling of floods in the Municipality of Odivelas and the delimitation of flood zones for return periods of 20 years, 100 years and 1000 years.
In addition to these activities, technical assistance will be provided in the analysis of the interventions recommended in the Lisbon Flood Control Project (PCCRL 1988), in particular, the regularization and torrential correction actions of the upper reach of the river da Costa.
Objectives
- Contribute to strengthening the resilience of the territory due to the threat of floods.
Results
- Flood maps in the municipality of Odivelas for different return periods.
- Identification of the priority regularization interventions in the river Costa basin.
- Several reports will be produced.
