Co-ReSyF - Coastal waters research synergy framework

Co-ReSyF is a 3-year project (2016-2018) funded by the European Commission (Horizon 2020) and coordinated by DEIMOS Engenharia. The project supports research applications using Earth Observation (EO) data for Coastal Water Research. Co-ReSyF will create a cloud platform, which simplifies integration and processing of EO data use into multi-disciplinary research activities.

• To support and hasten the processing of research applications that use Earth Observation (EO) for coastal research.

LNEC is developing methods for bathymetry determination from SAR images. Results are estimates of water depth determined indirectly from the measurement of the ocean swell wavelength. LNEC also organized in 2017 a remote sensing Summer School.

To develop a research platform that facilitates research synergies through data, results and algorithm sharing.
