Description

The project included the realization of 4 studies:
I - Characterization of natural conditions;
II - Evaluation of the impacts of the construction of the marina;
III - Analysis of the conditions of marine agitation in the interior of the marina and analysis of the stability and overtopping of the main work of protection of the marina;
IV - Analysis of the stability of the beach of the marina and the prie in front of the cruise terminal.
Numerical models and 2d and 3D physical models were used.

Objectives

  • Verification of the project in its various aspects and evaluation of the impacts associated with the construction of the marina.

Results

The results obtained indicated that the project could be improved, especially with respect to the tranquility of the port basin, and it was therefore presented several suggestions that the projectist took into account for the overall improvement of the project.
