AQUAPATH was funded by ERASMUS+ programme and was implemented by a consortium of 7 partners from 6 European countries.It aimed at promoting a more optimized management of water ressources and under its scope it was developed an awareness raising campaign targeted at citizens/consumers.It aimed the change of their consumption habits from products with large water footprint to products will a small one,the reduction of direct water consumption and the pressure on manufacturers and decision-makers.
Objectives
- This project aimed the change of consumption habits from products with large water footprint to products with small water footprint
Results
AQUAPATH Project included the development of three tools:
- Water Footprint Calculator
- 6 training modules (water scarcity, water sustainability, production models, sustainable lifestyles, household's consumption, water in the public sector and the concept of individual water footprint);
- One module for children;
- One tool for water issues online reporting.
