The Kholombidzo Project is located in the middle of Shire River, upstream of Nkula Falls and the first falls downstream of Lilongwe Barrage. The Site offers an advantage of a potential electricity generation capacity ranging from 60 MW during dry season to 220 MW during rainy season.
