Description
The world, and water services, are experiencing a time of complexity and acceleration of change. How will we be in 2050? It is to try to find answers to this question that the APDA sponsored the foresight project "Water Services: The Next 30 Years." Using a participatory methodology four plausible and alternative scenarios for 2050 are characterized. This project is expected to help stakeholders better define their strategies. Objectives
- Rationality - Prospective Study with the objective of exploring 4 scenarios in 2050 so we can anticipate and be prepared for changes in PT.
Results
The exploitation of the four scenarios shows how financing issues depend on the continuity of the European Union and are decisive for the survival of the Water Companies.
In the coming decades, the projection of any rehabilitation or infrastructure construction investments will be conditioned if the world develops into isolation and governance models can undergo significant changes, depending on the social value of the resource and the cooperative intensity.
