Experimental and numerical modeling of air-water emulsion flows

Physical modeling of the runoff, namely in a stepped flood loader built in the LNEC, encompassing measurements of flow characteristic quantities such as velocity, point air concentration and representative heights (e.g., by means of modified Pitot tube, conductance probes); computational flow modeling using computational fluid dynamics models (Flow 3D®, OpenFoam).
