Description
The mini-WWTP (domestic / urban water) installed in Etar de Palmarejo, Cidade da Praia, for reuse, with safeguard of public health, in agriculture, irrigation of gardens and green spaces, laundering of streets and cars, industrial applications, among others. The WWTP is equipped with photovoltaic solar panels, minimizing the dependence of fossil energy. The mini ETAR aims at the reuse of effluents and in this sense to minimize the problems associated with water scarcity in Cape Verde.
