Description
SMAS de Almada was the first municipal service, in 2017, to provide video interpretation in Portuguese Sign Language. With this service, the Organization is able to make the contact of the deaf, face-to-face or video-chatted community (via Skype or through 12472) more autonomous and inclusive, and can carry out all kind of services that SMAS offers.
Objectives
- Enable face-to-face contact or video call of a deaf person
- Ensure inclusion and equality in access to information
