Entity
Description
Efficiency evaluation of the water distribution network, with daily water balances validation.
Project area:
-1500 watermeters with telemetry.
-2 Measurement and Control Zones (ZMC) with flow rate control, volumes and pressures.
-Daily water balance according to IWA (International Water Association).
Objectives
- This project aims to increase the efficiency of the distribution network by reducing real and apparent water losses.
Results
Identification and quantification of water losses:
- Real losses
- Apparent losses
Abusive / improper uses
Inefficiency of water meters
- Daily reports (BHD)
Improvement of water meters management:
- Identification of over or under measuring water meters
- Identification of sub-metering water meters
