Development of a holistic methodology for the determination of the ecological flow regime

The successional response of the riparian vegetation to a decade of a regime of ecological flows, is analyzed considering or not the requirements of this biological element, with reference to the natural riparian mosaic. The resulting vegetation mosaics are used as a basis for the characterization of the river bed to be considered in the hydrodynamic modeling of the fish habitat. The habitat preferences of the target fish species are characterized by habitat preference curves (CPH).
