Management Contract of the Water Supply Services in Mozambique: Nampula, Beira, Pemba and Quelimane

Within the framework of a management contract and as an operating company, AdP SGPS, through Águas de Mozambique was responsible for the supply of services and management of the water infrastructures of 4 cities in Mozambique: Nampula, Beira, Pemba and Quelimane, representing 30.500 clients and a number of population supplied of more than 400.000 inhabitants.

• Execution of a set of Delegated Construction Works for the rehabilitation of distribution networks of the 4 Cities
• Support Client in the management and implementing a capital investment program (total value of 47.000.000 USD)
• Managing the business tasks and back-up services: commercial, administrative, logistics, financial and HR services
• Operating the water infrastructures (supply, production, storage and distribution of water)

Increase the water production capacity and expansion of the service coverage

Improvement of the quality of water produced and distributed

Organize and capacitate the human resources of the 4 Water Utilities

Development and implementation of an investment plan

Pressure increase and 24 daily hours of water distribution

Maintenance and improvement of the water supply services

Extend the services and the management to other cities
