Description

he Faveta dam has the main purpose of irrigation, based on the following characteristics:

    • Stone masonry dam with 38,7 m of maximum height above foundation and 100,6 m of crest length.
    • Uncontrolled spillway on the dam body, designed for a maximum flow of 186,6 m3/s, with a Creager spillway sill.
    • Bottom outlet (Ø500 mm) embedded in the dam’s body and designed for a maximum flow of 2,35 m3/s.
    • Two Ø400 mm water intakes located on the dam upstream face.
