Assessment of infiltration flows at the Alcântara sewer system using traditional and non-traditional innovative approaches

The main objective of this research applied project was to estimate inflows from groundwater into combined sewer systems, using traditional and innovative approaches for different scenarios, and based on field studies in the Alcântara catchment, in Lisbon. A non-traditional approach was developed and applied to Alcântara catchment, based on oxygen isotopes, with promising results.
