Technical assistance to the company of water of TOMÉ AND PRÍNCIPE IN THE SECTOR OF THE SUPPLY OF URBAN AND PERI-URBAN WATER

The projet aimed to reinforce the thecnical skills of the Entreprise for Water and Energy of San Tome and Principe through the reinforce of their infrastructural information system, organizational and operational  development and the improvement of the control of the quality of water supply to the populations ensuring the goals set by the Government of San Tome and Principe ensuring the evolution of the standards of the water services quality, in the economic and financial framework.

• contribute to the increase of the performance of the Entreprise for Water and Energy in its operational and organizational dimensions.
• Contribute to increase the quality and quantity of the coverage taxes of access to drinking water in São Tomé and Príncipe.

Improvement of Operation Processes and Maintenance of Water Supply Systems; improvement of Information Processes (Cadastral, Process, Flow Control and Consumption); Implementation of Water Quality Control Plan; Implementation of a system for monitoring and monitoring performance indicators.

Reduction of Water Losses; Maintenance of Information and Monitoring Systems; Population awareness and education for sustainable use of supply systems; Increased coverage rate).
