Hydropower Scheme of Caculo Cabaça in Kwanza River

The hydropower scheme is formed by a concrete dam with 103 m of maximum height and 553 m of crest, allowing the storage of a total volume of about 440 million m3, and a hydroelectric power plant and an hydraulic circuit.

Installed power of 2100 MW and will contribute significantly to the target established by the government for the energy generation capacity until 2025.
