Description
Intended to supply water to Sotavento Algarvio, Vila Real de Santo António, Castro Marim, Tavira, Olhão, Faro, S. Brás de Alportel and Loulé (east) municipalities, to serve a resident and floating population estimated at about 800,000 inhabitants and to allow irrigation, in a 1st Phase, of 8,600 ha, the project also comprises the Odeleite and Beliche dams and Tavira WTP.
