Bluefocus provided support on integrated water resources management policies. The consultancy included the support to design and implement various water resource management tools, including monitoring networks, water use permits issuing process, water availability assessment studies, water resources indicators and water management plans.
Objectives
- To develop water resources monitoring plans
- To review and improve the water use permitting process
- To compute the water balance of Santo Antão, Santiago and Fogo islands
- To support to the revision of the National Plan for Integrated Water Resources Management
