Description

The Regional Agenda for the Circular Economy is a tool to accelerate the transition to the Circular Economy. It arises from the PAEC (National Action Plan) and seeks, through transversal actions (analysis, governance and commitment among local agents), networks and agreements for this new economic model.

The aim is to optimize, and make more circular the production, distribution and consumption roadmaps according to the principles of Lisbon and Tagus Valley Regional Strategy.

Objectives

  • Strengthen regional collaborative networks from the perspective of consumption and production flows and routes.
  • Adoption of the principles and practices of the circular economy in the local economy.

Results

To create local commitments that favor a more circular economy and leverage efficient industrial symbioses to strengthen regional dynamics.
