Description
MINEA (Ministry of Energy and Water) is the governmental body responsible for the areas of energy, water and sanitation. National Water Directorate (DNA) is the national entity in charge of implementing MINEA strategy for the Water Sector.
Thus, TECNOPLANO provided Site Investigation, Preliminary Studies, Design and Procurement Services to several public and private entities. The project targeted the Rehabilitation and Reinforcement of Water Supply Systems in 31 Municipalities.
Objectives
- Development of water supply systems for 31 Municipalities, taking into account DNA Specifications, with the aim of standardizing the final solutions,
Results
There are still no results to be presented, since the works were, or still are, stopped given the situation in Angola. The majority (re)started during 2016/2017.
Next challenges
Expand the knowledge aquired in this project to other geographies with similar challenges.
