P3LP Project Summary

Entity

Description

The P3LP project is part of a Portuguese-speaking institutional and business platform promoted by the Portuguese Water Partnership. It is made up of public and private entities with activities in the water sector. Its main objective is to facilitate and promote initiatives focused on the sharing of experiences and the dissemination of knowledge on water issues between public and private entities in Portuguese speaking countries.

Objectives

  • Promote partnerships between institutions, management entities and companies, guided by the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals
  • Contribute to the reinforcement of the presence of entities that are part of the Portuguese Water sector in the countries of the CPLP universe
  • Strengthen an international projection of the Portuguese Water sector in strategic markets for national economy

  • Market research: Guinea Bissau + Equatorial Guinea + S. Tomé + East Timor
  • Diagnostics of capacity needs and gaps in the water services management entities in the PALOP
  • Study EuropeAid opportunities in the CPLP universe within the framework of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals
