Description
The project’s approach to improving sector performance is based on a three-pronged strategy: reforming national policy and regulatory institutions, transforming inefficient utilities into independent corporate entities operating on a commercial basis, and improving the quality and reach of water and sanitation infrastructure. The Cape Verdean Government is leading the reform of the WASH sector and so requires assistance in undertaking the regulatory aspects of the project.
