Description

Águas do Tejo Atlântico is the biggest portuguese utility for wastewater sector, serving more than two million people at Great Lisbon and West region. 

 

Tejo (Tagus estuary) Atlântico (Atlantic ocean) has as it's mission to ensure the quality, continuity and efficiency of public wastewater services, in the sense of protecting public health, the well-being of the population, accessibility, environmental protection and economic and financial sustainability.

 

It's responsible for more than 100 wastewater treatment plants, some of them the biggest of the country, which globally treated in 2017 almost 200 million of wastewater from 23 municipalities.
