Description

The Figueira Gorda dam has the main purpose of irrigation, based on the following characteristics:

  • Gravity dam, stone masonry, with maximum height above foundation of 32,7 m and total crest length of 60,5 m.
  • Perimeter to irrigate: 80 ha.
  • Volume of the reservoir: 1 305 000 m3.
  • Flooded area: 16 ha.
